Eleuthera's forest

To not confuse with dogs and wolves!
Eleuthera is lenger female. Animals rare enough also live in coniferous (!) woods, eat basically pine needles. Not artiodactyl because on each leg(foot) on 3 fingers, coming to an end a hoof. Color of a wool varies during one year. In this picture - summer fur.
As unique means of protection lengers legs serve, they run rather quickly - 80 kmh with ease.

Life expectancy - on the average till 40 years
